Over-the-Rhine’s First Bike Corral

First off, a bike corral is merely the rededication of part of the street to bike parking.

Over-the-Rhine’s first bike corral (Cincinnati’s second) was recently installed near Park + Vine at the intersection of Main and 12th streets.

The following three photos were taken by Michael Providenti for the Bicycle Thursday Night Slow and Steady Ride group. You can find the group on facebook HERE.

The group’s description is as follows:

Every thursday night we meet @ 7:30pm @ Hoffner Park and ride around cincy and northern KY. This is not a pub crawl, It is just a ride for everyone for fun. You can ride any kind of bike you like, from BMX to Tall bikes and everything in between. It usually Goes about 1.5 to 2 hours. If you enjoy riding bicycles or would like to learn how to ride in an urban enviroment for commuting. Come on out we will take it easy on you.

PLEASE Share this group with your friends, the more the merrier!
