CODE: Cincinnati Open Design Event
Author’s note: The following information about CODE: Cincinnati Open Design Event was collected from its facebook page. Like it here. At first glance, I assumed CODE was scheduled to coincide with the Western and Southern Open (aka Cincinnati Masters or Cincinnati Open), which is the biggest summer tennis event in the United States and is taking place August 11-19, 2012. However, that is not the case, and CODE is scheduled to take place October 18-20, 2012. This is going to be a great event for OTR and Cincinnati.
CODE: Cincinnati Open Design Event (facebook, website) is an annual event showcasing areas of fashion, graphic and interactive design. The inaugural event is taking place October 18-20 2012, here in Cincinnati! Expect collaboration, great design, and artistry through a series of events and shows.
Thursday October 18 – Saturday October 20, 2011.
The four day exhibition honors the robust portfolio of talent possessed regionally in all fields of design. Cincinnati’s pool of creative talent, composed of top design students, regional, national and international design talent, will be showcased over the course of the three days through panels, expositions, runway shows and celebratory parties.
Created in March of 2012, Cincinnati Open Design Event is the creative collaboration between Mitchell’s Salon and Day Spa, Ionic Collective, Amy Kirchen and Navarro Photography. Within this joint effort, there are over 30 years of Fashion and Design experience, whether it be by creating or setting a standard.
