Celebrating Independence Day in Over-the-Rhine

In observance of Fourth of July, some OTR businesses are not open while others are celebrating the holiday and the kickoff of the 2012 World Choir Games with special events. Here’s an incomplete list of today’s observances in OTR:

Taste of Belgium Bistro at 12th and Vine is open and invites you to “Celebrate July 4th with American Belgian-style beers. It’s the first annual tap take over. For one day only we’re serving American beers on draft! (and no, we don’t plan on carrying bud light)”

MOTR, Japp’s, 1215 Wine Bar and Coffee Lab, Taste of Belgium bistro, Neon’s Unplugged, Incredible Creations, The Drinkery and others will be open. A Tavola Pizza is also open and invites you to “Come down and have a pizza and a beer to celebrate AMERICA! Happy hours from 4-6pm and 11pm-2am with all drafts $4 and late night menu till close.”

Findlay Market, Urban Eden, Bakersfield, Iris Book Cafe, Another Part of the Forest, Park + Vine, Smartfish Studio & Sustainable Supply, Enzo’s, Couture Couture Boutique, Sloane Boutique, Original Thought Required, and Venice on Vine are closed.

The Drinkery is celebrating our country’s independence by hosting a R3VO party which will include the music of The Natives, The Front Runners, and The Plastic Inevitables and food by ForkLife.

If you’re a business owner in OTR and not included in this post, feel free to leave a comment stating whether your business is open or not.
